This presentation, featured at the Financial Inclusion Week 2022 organized by the Center for Financial Inclusion, explores key gender and inclusion considerations in the digital savings group (DSG) space and showcases new resources to support safe, inclusive and gender-responsive digitization of savings groups. These include the DSH Hub and the DSG Toolkit published in 2022 by Global Communities and Women for Women International.

Digitizing BeninCajù Savings Groups – Pilot Project Reports

This report offers insights from the pilot of DreamSave conducted in 2021-22 by TechnoServe and DreamStart Labs among 40 savings groups in the Zou, Collines and Borgou Departments in the Benin Republic. This included 31 pre-existing savings groups (“paper-to-digital”) and 9 newly formed groups (“born-digital”).
